St. Vincent’s Hospital no longer exists, but its former building on 7th Ave between 12th and 13th Streets still stands.
It was originally built in 1964 as part of the complex for the National Maritime Union of America. The nautical-themed building (yes, those are port holes) served as its headquarters. After the union collapsed, St. Vincent’s took over. The hospital suddenly closed in 2011 and now the building is part of the Lenox Hill Hospital family.
